Welcome to Thorpe Creek Elementary, home of the Cardinals!

At Thorpe Creek Elementary, our motto is: “Where Every Cardinal Learns to Fly!” Every member of the TCE staff believes this to be true, and through a strong, collaborative partnership between the staff, students, families, and our community, we commit to seeing this through. 

Thorpe Creek is a community of learners, problem-solvers, and critical thinkers. A devoted staff, supportive families, and creative children, work together to make the learning environment centered on the whole child.   

When visiting Thorpe Creek Elementary, you will see all students in kindergarten through 4th grade joyfully engaged in the learning process. When passing by our classrooms, students are often seen enthralled in a good book, hearing a great story read by their teacher or guest reader, or working in groups to practice a newly taught math skill. Our students are leaders, and many participate in our wide offering of extracurricular activities, such as chess club, student council, choir, math, science, and spell bowls, and basketball club, just to name a few. Engineering and creativity abound in our newly designed STEAM classroom, and our science center is open all day for classes to participate in rich exploratory work. We have beautiful outdoor spaces, complete with a nature center and gardens planted and cultivated by our students.
